Inside The Broadway Hollywood

Hollywood and Vine is looking good these days. With its many new developments and general air of excitement, this famous intersection is now living up to its more than half a century-old reputation for glitz and glamour. Hollywood-Vine condos have been and are being constructed throughout the area and interest in 90028 real estate is steadily peaking. One of the Hollywood-Vine condos that have already opened their doors is The Broadway Hollywood, formerly the department store of the same name.

The Broadway Hollywood is made up of 96 lofts with expansive floor areas ranging in size from 931 to more than 2,000 square feet. Some of the lofts are two to three stories high and a few come with loggias and balconies that open out to a variety of views, from that of the Hollywood Hills to the luxuriant Griffith Park.

Other Hollywood-Vine condos opening soon include The Lofts @ Hollywood and Vine and the ongoing W hotel and residential project. The former, created by Palisades Development Group, will feature 60 luxury loft condos and 5 commercial lofts. 25 lofts are two stories in height and the commercial lofts have a floor area of 805 to 1,305 square feet.

The W hotel and residential project is a huge development whose estimated finish date is 2009. Set to rise on the same block as the historic Taft Building is a 300-room W Hotel with 143 condos adjoining it. These lavish condos will benefit from hotel services. The project also includes 375 luxury apartments and 60,000 square feet of retail space slated for stores, restaurants, a nightclub and a spa.
